Welcome Message

Dear Prospective Students,

On behalf of your Student Admissions Representatives team, we are excited to welcome you to the world of Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry!  We all know the hard work and dedication it takes to apply to medical school and we could not be more excited to introduce you to our School.

Joining Schulich Medicine is like becoming part of a new family. The sense of camaraderie at our school is incredible, and we all strive to support and encourage one another – whether at the London campus or the Windsor campus. We go to classes together, study together, play dodgeball and inner-tube water polo together, succeed together, and grow together. Individually, the people who come to Schulich Medicine are extraordinary, but as a group they form a class with truly diverse strengths and interests.

Schulich Medicine is a fantastic place to learn medicine, and it is filled with amazing people. As a student at the School, you will have access to the Best Curriculum on Earth (BCOE), a program that gets its name from the block-by-block review of the curriculum that occurs each and every year with input from us, the students. Both campuses also benefit from a healthy balance of different teaching methods that includes large lectures, small group sessions, independent learning and clinical skills practice. No matter what your learning style is, Schulich will have something for you. With classmates and teachers there to provide constant support and encouragement throughout your studies, Schulich will give you the tools to excel as a future physician.

As Schulich Medicine students, you will have the power to leave your legacy here. You are in control of your student experience, whether it is by forming a club for a niche interest, starting new volunteer initiatives, or running for a leadership position within the school. With the aid of helpful and enthusiastic staff who genuinely care for students, anything is possible.

It’s our job as your first year admissions representatives to make sure that the admissions process goes as smoothly as possible for you. If you have any questions about our school, feel free to explore this website and/or email us at uwoadmissions@gmail.com.

Future 2021s, we know that this is an incredibly stressful time for you, but take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve already come. We are truly excited to meet and get to know you! Best of luck with your interview! Congratulations again and we look forward to meeting you in March and April!
